This Isn't How You Treat Family...

Bashas' Inc. tells us that it treats its employees like family. But clerks, meatcutters, and stockers at Bashas' Supermarkets, Food City, and AJ's Fine Foods don't see it that way. They're counting on you to help encourage the company to treat workers with respect.

The Bottom Line on Bashas'

Bashas' Inc. owns and operates more than 160 grocery stores in Arizona, primarily under the names of Bashas' Supermarket, Food City, and AJ's Fine Foods. What used to be a small, family-run business has become one of Arizona's biggest corporate empires.

Bashas’ thousands of employees are our friends, our family members, and our neighbors. They have made the company the success it is today. Unfortunately, the company treats them like a cost to be minimized, an obligation to be avoided.

On this site you will find information about Bashas’ conduct, the ways in which it has disrespected its employees and our communities, and – most importantly – what you can do to change the company’s behavior.
